As a Java Developer, you will be part of our development team, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our clients’ needs.

Job Description & Key Responsibility:

Skill Set/Competencies Required:

Technical skills:

  • Software Development: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Java code to develop and enhance software applications.
  • Design: Participate in the design and architectural decisions of software projects, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
  • Testing: Create and execute unit tests, integration tests, and perform debugging and troubleshooting to ensure software quality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to understand project requirements and deliver timely solutions.
  • Documentation: Document code, processes, and technical designs to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
  • Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize code for better efficiency.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest Java technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Java Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
  • Proficiency in Java programming language and its associated technologies (e.g., Spring Framework, Hibernate, Maven, Gradle).
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and related frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus.
  • Database knowledge, including SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Experience:

  • 2+ Years

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Additional Skills (Optional):

  1. Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  2. Knowledge of microservices architecture.
  3. Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  4. Security best practices and experience in securing Java applications.
  5. DevOps and CI/CD pipeline experience.
